Message from Suntuity Solar

As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to affect the lives of people around the country and the world, we would like to express our proactive commitment to the health and safety of our customers and our employees. As a company we follow the guidelines outlined by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO) to ensure we are serving our customers with only their best interest in mind.

In-person interactions are limited to only necessary in-home visits with prior customer approval and strict social distancing guidelines in place. Our Solar Specialists offer phone and video consultations for new customer appointments, and our field technicians only work in pairs of two, alert customers prior to arrival, wear gloves, masks and booties on the property, and work outside as much as possible.

We qualify every person on our team to ensure they are fit to work with daily temperature and symptom checks at the start and end of each working day. If an employee was potentially exposed to COVID-19, we require them to self-quarantine for 14 days even if they do not show symptoms.

  • If our employees are not feeling well, they must stay home.
  • We are offering virtual phone and video appointments for homeowners interested in solar.
  • As a company we practice strict social distancing and have instructed most employees to work from home.
  • In-person interactions limited to only necessary in-home visits with prior customer approval.
  • Technicians & other field personnel keep 6 feet distance between all parties, do not engage in traditional social practices like shaking hands, and are required to wear masks, gloves and booties while working.
  • All crew members have temperatures and symptoms assessed at the beginning and end of every day.
  • We are offering over the phone and virtual appointments.
  • As a company we are practicing social distancing and have instructed most employees to work from home. This is to ensure safety for our customers during surveys and installations.

Please note: If you do not feel comfortable with any in-person interaction with our team members, please let us know and we will accommodate your needs while doing everything we can to keep your project moving forward in a timely manner.

How to Protect Yourself?

  • Know How it Spreads

The best way to prevent illness is to avoid prolonged exposure to an infected person, with or without symptoms. The virus is thought to spread easiest from person-to-person less than 6 feet apart for 10 minutes or longer. It is best to avoid crowds and limit social interactions outside of your respective households.

  • Take steps to protect yourself

Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 30 seconds. Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands. Avoid close contact with people who are sick and wear a mask in public places to both protect yourself and others around you from virus exposure.

  • Take steps to protect others

Stay home if you are sick, except to get medical care as instructed by your doctor via phone. Cover your mouth and nose when you cough or sneeze and wear a facemask when you are around other people to reduce the rate of transmission.
